Zimbabwe Aid Association joins The Entertainment Book family
The new 2010-11 Entertainment Books were launched at the Ranch Motel on 17th April, 2010. Entertainment Books feature the best dining, hotel accommodation, theatres, sports and much more....all with 25% to 50% or two for one offers. The book contains vouchers for different restuarants etc that you can use to reduce your bill when you pay for your meal. For the uninitiated here is how it works. You buy the book relevant to the areas or centers that you frequent e.g. Parramatta. When you want to go out for dinner, you flip through the book to check which restuarants are offering the best discount voucher in the book. You tear off the voucher which you will present to the cashier upon finishing your dinner. The amount or percentage on the voucher will be deducted from your bill. For instance if your total bill was $150 and your voucher is $50 that you only pay $100. Doesn't that sound exciting! So you are probably asking yourself, what does this have to do with ZimAid. Well, if you purchase one book for $65, ZimAid gets $13 which helps our fundraising efforts for the poor and needy in Zimbabwe. By joining The Entertainment Book through sales of the books, ZimAid is now able to position itself to reach a wider spectrum of sponsors. Fred Nyamhunga represented the Association at the launch.
